What Souqi collects, why, and how you stay in control of it
Souqi is a marketplace that connects buyers with verified stores selling watches, gold, silver and investment coins in the United Arab Emirates. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use the Souqi app and website.
Your name, phone number and, if you add it, your email; your country, city and delivery addresses; your orders, returns, auction bids, quote requests and wallet transactions; your chats with stores; the products you view or save; and, for notifications, your device's notification token, platform and language.
To create and secure your account, to process your orders, payments and refunds, to run auctions and quote requests, to send you the notifications you expect (an order update, an offer, a price alert), to prevent fraud, and to keep the records the law requires.
When you order from a store, it receives what it needs to deliver: your name, phone number and delivery address, and the items ordered. In auctions, other bidders see a number, never your name.
Card payments are handled by our payment provider; Souqi does not store your card number. Your wallet balance and its history are kept for accounting and for your protection.
As long as your account is open. When you delete your account, your personal details are erased; order and payment records are kept without your name for as long as the law requires.
You can edit your profile, delete your addresses, turn notifications off in your phone's settings, and delete your account at any time from the app (Profile → Delete account) or from the "Delete account" page on this website.
